Jafar and Bobby Strobe (aka Rob Stow) began working together back in 1997, they released three Techno e.p's on D.A.V.E The Drummer's respected 'Hydraulix' imprint and Rob's own Gravitation Records, before a slew of underground house and tech-house cuts on labels such as Dallas Disks, Plastic Fantastic, Lynx White Label, a 6 track LP for 4bit Art & Music and this forthcoming two tracker for Universal Vibes this third digital release from universal vibes Kicks off with 'Keeps Coming', an incessant vocal chant urges on the groove which builds throughout the track til the 303 bass lifts it up and twists it into oblivion. Latin shades takes a more subtle approach, raw and punchy, sounding a bit like a new jersey track from way back when updated for the naughties, the groove builds and builds with little brass stabs and string flourishes keeping the interest going strong til the end of the track picking up props and airplay from a whole host of underground house djs, including raymondo rodriguez (played on ministry radio, sean brosnan (azuli), unabombers, harold heath, stuart patterson, , muuray richardson, tyler stadius and more
